You may find other companies offering some renewable energy hardware at lower prices. We are not a discount supermarket and we don't change our prices solely to "meet or beat" another price. We don’t sell kit # One, Two or Three. We offer our customers far more than a cheap deal. We offer complete personalized specification, local installation & service if desired. We support our customers with complete technical information whether by phone, letter, e-mail or on-site survey. We enforce all manufacturers’ warranties. With an EC system you get what you pay for.

Why Use Renewable Energy?

The most commonly asked question is:”How much power does it take to run a three bedroom house?”The answer is:––“None!”. How much electricity you consume depends entirely upon your lifestyle and willingness to use conservation techniques and energy efficient appliances. Chances are, you don’t have to give up anything that you’re used to, you’ll just learn to use the power more efficiently.

Home power generation is entering a boom period. Many states are offering rebates and tax credits for installing photovoltaic systems. As of 2006 there is a significant tax credit available for both residential and commercial systems.

Besides which, electricity prices are going up - fast! Much of the reasonably priced and desirable land is beyond the commercial power grid. Our average off-grid customer is quoted installation costs over $60,000 per mile by the commercial power companies. Commercial utilities are not interested in new, hard-to-get-at customers. This is where we come in. We provide a customized home power system for less than what the power company wants just to run in the lines. Never mind the monthly bill!

What We Do

Electron Connection designs, sells,installs and maintains Renewable Energy (RE) power systems. We have been in business since 1976 and hold California Electrical Contractor Lic. #613554 and Oregon Construction Contractors Board #147624. In additions to our own installations, we sell through direct contact and through our nationwide associates.

One of our primary services is to teach you how this is done.Our systems are based on your solar, water, and wind resources. This may be a hybrid combination of some or all of these power sources or a utility grid intertie system. Each system is as unique as its' user.

Where We're Coming From

We live on RE produced on site as our sole source of electrical power. Our system utilizes photovoltaic, wind and micro-hydro power sources. I personally have been living on home power since 1970. We consider ourselves to be equal to, and free from – the energy establishment. Our home and company headquarters is located 2 miles from the commercial power grid.

We have developed the Energy Master, a powerful, consumption-driven computer program. This tool allows us to design a power system tailored to your needs and pocket book. We can even factor in your future needs so your system can grow as you go. This information can save you thousands of dollars and keep you from making costly mistakes.
